Dinner at d One Restaurant

Xinyue out of sudden wanna eat Fish & Chips last weekend; We bought her to the nearest western restaurant, d One at Sri Rampai to have a quick dinner as daddy wanna rush for his favourite football leagues at 7.30pm. Anyway, she was quite satisfied with the food served there ... Look at her facial expression, Boleh tahan lar!

Lotus Seeds from Vietnam

Wows! Can;t stop eating this while watching tv at home ... crunchy and yummy! Fried lotus seeds. One of my Singapore colleague bought it from Vietnam when she had business meeting there (hehe ... forgotten to eat at office when Vincent passed to me last month)

Done! Fried Minced Pork - Recipe from Jenny

Got it done this afternoon ... look good? However, tasted quite salty... maybe i didn't immerse tai tau choy in the water ... will be more perfect in next round :) hihi ...

Ingredients :

minced pork

tai tau choy (finely chopped)

garlice (finely chopped)

shallots (sliced and fried golden brown - optional)

Oil for frying

thick black sauce

soya sauce

- to taste a bit of oyster sauce

- to enhance taste (optional)sugar

Method:

heat oil and fry the shallots first - keep aside. Use back the same oil to fry garlic till golden brown, add in the minced pork - stir fry. Add in the chopped tai tau choy, then add in dark sauce, soya sauce, oyster sauce and sugarfry until fragrant. When ready add in the shallots

其实，我蛮喜欢隶书；但必需把楷书掌握好再另提吧！

亦乐一天一天地长大，转眼快要十四个月了！可惜，目前为止，才生两颗牙齿。可爱的笑容惹人想往他脸上咬一大口！！

Natural golden Grade "A" Bird Nest

Bought Grade "A" quality .... natural golden bird nest ("kam si yin") from JinYee (RM10/g ) I've chosen 4 slices and weighted at 36g, cost me RM 360. One slice can slow cook into 2 full size of rice bowl; Noted is better quality than those "broken" bird nest that i used to buy before; Taste & texture also much different. My initial plan was to cook for Xinyue to soothe her lungs since she has bad cough for the previous few months as me; However, she doesn't really enjoy and refuse to take after few scoops! Ended up, me & my hubby finished the bird nest...yummy yummy

从横开始。。。

第一课的书法班，我开始学会掌握把‘横’写好。 其实，要把横学得对，可要下点功夫！逆转笔锋，然后顺转笔锋，把横一写，集中力在笔肚，到尾再顺转笔锋，便完成一横。哈哈，看似简单，非简单 ！ 练习了两页，老师还赞我写得蛮ok呢 :) 于是，便开始学写‘点’；要把‘点’写好就要写得像露水点一样；（笔锋不动，笔肚顺转） 练写了144个点，终於体会得到这露水点了！

JojoBa Spa

Henry & me revisited JojoBa Spa at Time Square Hotel for a revitalizing spa treatment under promotion package this afternoon. It was at RM168net for 2 person on a 60 minutes aroma theraphy massage inclusive foot bath; We were actually wanted to try Asia Spa at Jln Yap KwanSeng. Since the appointment was fully booked there, therefore we changed it to Jojoba instead. We recognised the services of the therapists, However, one thing that annoyed us most was the room given was too bright! A dim room is preferable as to ease tension & discomfort as well as promotes relaxations. Since the spa is attached to Hotel, 15% tax are imposed for all the packages... we think the price is slightly higher if compared to other Spa centres. Not worth going unless under any promotion packages :)

Life is Great!

was able to celebrate Great Eastern 100 years Anniversary last month (26/8/2008) before i left GE. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity of working in a 100 years old company and I wish the company a successful undertaking and a long lasting success.

Pamper myself at "Pamper Zone - Star Hill Gallery" after packing all of office stuffs on Monday 22/9/2008, afternoon

Only spend RM50 (promotion voucher which i purchased previously when Kanebo having road show at GE hall during Beauty week), i had Radiance Energylift treatment (n.p.RM248) and Internsive eye treatment (n.p.RM128) done on my face;

2 hours treatment at this 6 star salon with RM50 , worth it!

我参加的书法斑終于开课了! 21/9/2008

离职后第一件做的事情。。。

The teacher is only at age 25 .... a very young specky guy;

However, according to him, he has teached for the past 10 years. His master is 沈目羽老师.

This is the black t-shirt i received on the first day of the class; the bottom of "书法斑"is actually the teacher's name

The class was quite interesting ...

in fact, only 11 of us enrolled the class ...

there are youngsters, working adults and 3 retirees...

The fundamental class comprises of 15 sessions;

Hopefully, at the end of the class i manage to master some of the essential skills in caligraphy as to proceed with the intermediate class
