Our new HoBBy@home

Aquarium! !Aquariums are beautiful and look good anywhere! Many people nowadays use it as decorative purposes and so do us!

As guided, we put the special soil into the tank & work on with some desire landscaping. Then cover it with plastic and fill the tank with clean water. Start inserting the live water plants, decorate those are taller at the back to create sense of layering look for aqua plants. Starts the filtering system & on the light.

.... A beautiful cystal clear aqua plants presented after 15 days!!

Heheeh ..our next mission is to put colorful guppies into the tank because it is not encouraged to do so during first 15 days in view of overly acidic water produced from the base soil.

万紫千红

今年我们家的过年花。。。万紫千红！

话说那天和老友秋兰在咱们以前中学时代的旧地盘吃午餐，地点是冠记云吞面。边吃边谈起二十年前我们时常到这里吃，喝， 玩，乐的日子。金莲记，李东记，汉记，乐园鸡饭一一都有我们的足迹。还记得，文全在乐园鸡饭的最高记录：五碗鸡饭！只因乐园的鸡饭实在够好吃！本人也不赖，想当年，我最高记录竟能啃下三碗鸡饭！想起乐园鸡饭的味道，真是回味无穷！只可惜，现已停止营业。

还好，冠记云吞面十年如一日，没令我们失望。咱们倆吃得不亦乐乎！

岁月不留人，转眼间离开尊孔也有超过十七年啦！茨厂街当然也改变了不少；当年的同窗学友也各分东西。庆幸的是，大部份的老朋友都有在联系。尤其面子书的出现，更促进大家彼此互联的进度。

离别茨厂街前， 买了这盘刚盛开的万紫千红！
今年是属于咱们的金兔年，愿大家新的一年里，平安，快乐，健康！万紫千红迎新年！！

It's time to hang!

 

This was gifted by one of the master Calligrapher when I visited his house in 2008 year end during one of our visitation event organised by my weekend Calligraphy class. Guess what? so co-incidentally, the first time I met him in person at his house in the morning; I met him again in the evening on the same day because both of us were attending the same wedding reception. The world is just too small!

Just went to the glass shop to do framing this morning & soon it will ready be on wall.

XINyue's new Life in Primary school 大寶貝上小學去了!

~ Her first day at primary school ~ 03.01.2011
Pity to wake her early in 6am to get prepare to school as she uses to sleep long hours. " Mummy, why wake me up in dark?" Her curiousity made her jump out from the bed to re-assure that it's the right time to go school.
I was astounded!!
True, indeed she hasn't wake up such early for the past 6 years & no wonder she was shocked seeing darkness before dawn!

On one hand,we're relief to see her growing up independantly all these years BUT on the other hand, it also signify she will soon has her new world, her wisdom & to the day she moves out on her own.

We want to let you know our bond will never break, You're our Pride and Joy!
